Snow, Melancholy; Green College – December 2016, iPhone 7 Plus
Snow puts me in several moods: wonder, contentment, melancholy. Melancholy is also one of my favourite words to describe an emotion. Tonight I feel it and decided to write about it. If I had to put a soundtrack to it, currently on repeat: Present Tense by Radiohead.
Melancholy
Each letter fits together so beautifully
With a balance so perfect
Each syllable rings melodically
With a rise and fall as calm as the ocean tide
The word sits alone but not quite lonely
In quiet solitude
Pensive
Me and you
We fit together so perfectly

We breathe and we talk harmonically
With an ebb and flow uplifting and pastoral
